Growing up surrounded by car enthusiasts, with cherished examples ranging from Camrys to Bolwells, and reading piles of Wheels magazines with his dad, the writing was on the wall for Charlie from a young age.

Charlie has worked for publishers such as Wheels Media and Chasing Cars, reporting on news, spinning tales about his own cars, and lots more.

Charlie’s ethos is: “Behind every well-kept car is an interesting story.”

When he’s not writing, Charlie can be found swinging spanners on his varied fleet of vehicles, experimenting with old cameras, and helping friends with their automotive restoration projects.

Outside of his automotive pursuits, Charlie is a keen enthusiast in the areas of computers, electronics, everything vintage, music and literature of many varieties.
